Increasing Demand for Blue Light Air Ambulance Service by Private Jet

Here at Aerovest our blog often consists mainly of pieces about private jets and beautiful destinations, however, it is not all fun at a jet company. Many people believe that Private Jets are reserved for the rich and famous but these people would be very wrong. Not only are private jets becoming increasingly affordable, but they are also used by Aerovest to save lives. Aerovest is now more than ever seeing increasing demand for private air ambulance services operated by our private jets which is actively contributing to saving the lives of many people around the world.

What is an Air Ambulance?

medical repatriationWell actually, the answer to this question is a lot simpler than you think. It is an ambulance, just like any other ambulance you would see on the road but, it’s in the air. The majority of air ambulances you see are usually domestic ambulance flights served by our amazing air ambulance charities such as Midland Air Ambulance during emergencies.

Aerovest uses aircraft for many different medical flights worldwide and for various purposes. Usually, our private air ambulance provides transportation to patients domestically in the UK or around the world, often bringing patients home to a hospital for life-saving medical treatment. Patients utilising our private air ambulance service do so for many different reasons including but not limited to the below list:

Usually, Aerovest is often able to supply an appropriate air ambulance service with little notice period, especially when dealing with life-saving treatments, also referred to as our Blue Light Air Ambulance flight service.

What is a blue light emergency flight?

private air ambulanceA blue light air ambulance flight is when a patient is in critical condition and needs the best of medical treatment as soon as possible. Aerovest will arrange an emergency ambulance to be waiting as soon as the aircraft arrives at the parking stand. The patient is transferred from the aircraft to the road ambulance and then rushed for emergency treatment with blue flashing lights and sirens, which is where the name blue light service comes from.

On our blue light emergency service flights, a fully trained and qualified emergency medical crew will also fly onboard the aircraft with the patient to take care of the patient during the flight.

Aerovest will be happy to arrange an emergency medical repatriation using private aircraft for patients in need of urgent treatment, or for those who are too ill to fly on commercial service. Call Aerovest on +44 333 366 0965 to arrange today.
